I've crafted my way to within reach of master artisan, and have managed to pick up a couple of the advanced proffessions. I got there by crafting many weapon/droid/general crafting tools, then once i was able too, by crafting personal mineral extractors. Good xp, but my fingers got tired, and it took me a long time. I've been hearing a lot about people doing the same as me in just a few days by using macro's. Anybody care to share those macro's with the rest of us, or any other helpful hints? I plan on taking all the advanced proffesions of artisan (But not yet sure which ones I want to master), so I still have a lot of crafting xp to go. I'm sure those new to the crafting professions would appreciate the help as much as myself.
Thanks in advance.

I did it farly quick, maybe a week. But I didn't use macros. Just crafted and had fun. Made lots of different things.
Hmmmmmm....I wasn't much help to you was I?

Two nights....and not all night either.
Night One: used a survey macro. Got through the Survey tree in about 5 hours.
Night Two: started with making survey tools. Got to level 1 and made Food/Chem Tools(give the most for what they use) until level 3, then switched to Mineral Harvesters. Quickly amassed the 25k XP needed to finish off the Artisan profession in about an hour.
So, in all it probably took me about 6 hours in all. But I also had a friend who gave me the grinding resources. My first time around, when no one had resources to give and you had to SAMPLE to find them, it took me about 3 weeks of playing.

In this thread is your basic crafting macro, but heed my warning: it will take a lot of fun out of the profession. I was a DE forever and one day decided to take up weaponsmithing for my alt's weapon obsession. In order to even begin competing with other weapon qualities I had to be master, but it took a lot of fun out of learning about the weapons. I really only recommend it if you have no intention of using the profession (most hologrinders) or if you've done it before, dropped it for whatever reason, and decided to come back.

Yea, I made lots of fireworks too. Not as much xp as the crafting tools, but they are a lot more fun afterwards! Especially once you get the ability to make the fireworks show.
