Artisan Archive

I've read about this tool many times, yet no one has described how to acquire or build one. I'm up to engineering 3 and there are a couple of items that need one. Any help is greatly appreciated =).

Specialized Crafting Tools are simply the specific tools to make specific items. For example, instead of using your Generic Crafting Tool to make a CDEF Pistol, you would use the Weapons, Droids and General Crafting Tool. Or to make a Bofa Treat, you would use the Food and Chemical Crafting Tool.

These Tools are General Items under the menu of your General Crafting Kit.

lol, oh do i feel stupid now. After reading through a lot of crafting guides i somehow got the impression it was some modified tool, rather then a tool aimed at specific areas, aka 'specialized'. Thanks for clearing that up.

As a medic, you need a Food and Chemical crafting tool. You can make one yourself using your generic crafting tool, or find an artisan to make you one. You will have fewer crafting failures if you use a high quality tool, like those made by master artisans.
