"Can we have powerups give certain mods(i.e. A scope will give range mods, grip or stock lower HAM costs) and be less random?"

I find it odd that adding a scope to a weapon will be able to give it a speed bonus.

or

"With the new DOT weapons being popular, can MAs have a DOT powerup where, like the rest of the powerups, the results would be random and last for 100 shots?"

The way to keep them in line, you can have them use spesific resources or have them use Radioactive material.

This was a subject originally brought up for the next Droid Engineer question and after considerable thought, this is really a artisan issue.

Why is there so much inequity in Master Artisan component dependancy?

Currently Droid Engineers have over 45 schematics that depend on Master Artisan parts(including new items added, most derived from the use of Electronics/ GP memory modules).

Architect has 43 schematics that depend on Master Artisan parts (most derived from the use of Power Core units, which require Power conditioners and Energy distributors) .

Weaponsmith has 5 schematics that depend on Master Artisan parts( Control units for2 Rifles, 1 Lance and 1 pistol. Power Conditioner for the Stun Baton).

Armorsmith has 6 schematics that depend on Master Artisan parts (mostly for PSG's which use Power Conditioners and Energy Distributors).

Chef has 1 schematic (Power conditioners for barrels--which are bugged)

Tailor has 0.

There was a statement made late last year about equalizing dependancy on Master Artisan, is that still planned?

Hello,

From my experience, you still get XP from people using your stuff. However, the bug/annoyance where sometimes the XP counter feedback stops (until you logoff/logon or "zone" via shuttle to another area) make it seem that you're not getting XP anymore. I've had the system tell me, while doing other activities other than crafting, that I suddenly qualify for so-and-so skill or elite profession even when my XP monitor still shows "almost full" (as opposed to green when you meet the requirements) so I know somebody, somewhere is using my products.

The XP gain is very small, IMO, more so when you're trying to finish off the high level skills or trying to get enough to start an elite crafting profession. At the start, I literally gave away my CDEFs and bone armor to other new people and that helped tremendously to get me to the second Tier skills but after that I focused on crafting high XP items.

What I did was create good quality Personal Harvesters (BER 3 at first then BER 4) using resources I mined myself then sold half of them for a small profit to offset the costs. The other half I used practiced mode. During this time, a big part of my income was still doing crafting missions (the Tyrena/Vreni island pays 1.3k on average per mission so that's 2.6k on average when you take 2)--which also gives a small amount of XP (50+ I believe). Doing this, I was able to get enough XP for Weaponsmith even before I got Master Artisan.

Incidentally, I didn't buy resources to create my initial Harvesters--I sampled all of them. I only started harvesting when I was able to create BER 3/4 ones. This helped me go through the surverying branch real quick and was the first branch I maxed-out on.

I hope my experience gives you some ideas to take off the grind feel... Now that I'm Weaponsmith I fully understand what you're going through...

I dont know if this has been asked before so here goes... With the vehicle bug fix it seems natural to add a Vehicle repair kit to the game. Will this happen and if so will artisans be able to create it (only makes sense)?

I say:

Why is there not a search function at the bazaar?

I really think that shoul be our question, cause i think it is really annoying to look through 800 resource containers to find a resources which is not at that termiinal!!!!

When will Harvestors only be certified for ARTISAN and the ELITE ARTISAN professions.

This is an artisan issue because all other crafting professions require artisan.

I dont think the other question about elite crafting professions being dependant on MASTER ARTISAN for a few components. Why should a solider buy a weapon from a weaponsmith if he should just build it? WHy should a soldier buy armor from a armorsmith if he can just build it? I mean that question to me is obviously from someone who ISNT a master artisan and is a dabbler and he used his skill points to master in 3 elite crafting proffessions instead of 2 + Master Artisan.

If your all going to come ont his thread and vote for a question that is not in favor of the proffession its being asked for SPARE US.

Im a Master Artisan/Weaponsmith/Armorsmith and no way would I argue that as a weaponsmith or armorsmith i need to rely on master artisan for a few components. It makes sense to me. It makes sense that a droid engineer has to rely on master artisan as well. It makes sense to me that a Armorsmith has to rely on Tailer for some components. It makes sense to me that a chef has to rely on scout/ranger. It makes sense that a medic needs to also rely on scouts/rangers.

Go back to your profession and stop trying to obfuscate us into problems that dont pertain to artisan and bring it up with your ELITE CRAFTING profession correspondant.

And if the ARTISAN correspondant is going to even take into consideration such a question you should be called a traitor and be publically executed appropiatly.

Confused on that response Outta. Cuz this is a big issue with myself and other artis on Kettemoor. Thats the most important question to me. When do people that have invested absolutly nothing in Artisan stop getting rich for doing absolutly nothing.

Hey, you need a couple hundred thousand units of hide? No problem I can do that for you. O wait. NO I can't. I'm not certified!!! Inorganics? Ya theres a M bounty hunter down the street that cross server traded for 80 lots. He can get you the resources you need. If hiscompletly combat profesion characture isn't out hunting Jedi. (on a side note) He also has a few vendors in his shop. Ya he trained up business to place the vendors and doesn't actually have to dedicate any points to that skill to keep em!!

crap, all crap

Anywho....
