I have learnt quite a few languages, I have survey 1, business 1, and half way through engineering 1. And what objects do i need to grind for artisan? thanks

You'll need to start collecting resources, theoretically by sampling to keep getting the survey experience if you want to master Artisan, but for the general crafting experience many people I've seen produce practice weapon powerups.

Just my thoughts, do with them what you will.

The best advice i can give you (i know abot these things as i got master arti in a week) is do not prototype grind, it may take abit more time to get where your going but when you get there youll have things to sell on the bazaar instead of nothing for all your hard work. The best thing to grind is actually general crafting tools as they use the most amount of resources and thats what determines exp, the formula is resources used x 2 = exp, after you get to eng 3 or 4 i forget you wanna be making personal mineral extractors and you should be an artisan in no time! also make sure you collect some good resources aswell, look on the right coloumn what the item requires say overal quality (called OQ in game) and then get some resource that has a OQ somewhere in the 900's and get lots of it. Then once you get there you should be sorted and ahve something to sell to start your buisness.

make crafting tools in practice mode to level to engineering 3 i think it is, then switch to personal harvesters and you can be done in a day..except for the surveying part which takes a little while. check at www.swgcraft.com for the resources you need for everything, which you can get while doing surveying xp. my view of things anyways

have fun

If you do have the money, get buffed (action only should do fine)- find a nice 80%ish resource concentration and sample away. The buff will ensure that you do not need to rest between samples. I have just started artisan after Mastering 2 combat professions (word of advice - dont do this. The game sucks when all you can to is hunt and kill). I got to Surveying 3 in about 45mins.

If you are new to SWG, go to Tyrena and take crafting missions to Vreni Islands. Half an hour of this and you should have enough money to get an action buff and shuttle fares to do abit of exploration.

Im havingheaps offun doing artisan. Im dropping Rifleman for this and its worth it. The fun factor has returned for me.
