Thread: Question Re deeding a generator

I just built 3 wind generators and have had fun playing with the crafting experimentation on them. I placed them in a couple of places and have run them for a few days but it seems the wind has moved on to a different location.

I know you can redeed them but what is the redeed cost and do I need to empty the hopper first?

I've read it wasaround 1500 or 3000 depending on the thread and I didnt want to find out I guessed to low and destroyed it. I also dont want to leave to many credits in it if I can avoid it.

When you select the option to destroy a harvester, the popup will tell you how many credits need to be in the maintenance pool for you to receive a deed back ( use the menu option to pay maintenance) ... I don't see where you had to do any guesswork ... it tells you if it will be destroyed or not and you have to put in a confirmation code ... anyways, for a wind harvester, I believe its 1500, as that is what all the other small harvesters cost to redeed.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I usually deal with my harvesting late at night, I wasnt sure if there was a safe guard in place to prevent half asleep people from screwing up lol.
