Ok, the last time I checked, swoops and speederbikes took part 'ferrous' and part 'non-ferrous' metals.

Is this still the case? My guild is burning through bikes like mad, so I was thinking of mastering artistan to make a few hundred, last us a while, but I havent seen non-ferrious metal in quite some time.

Is my information about them inaccurate, or is the stuff I need just not spawning on my server?

Any info would be apprechiated =)

ferrous = any steel or iron

non-ferrous = any copper or aluminum

these things are always in season, its the specific types of metals that vary..which you won't need if you only wish to do MA to make bikes

Ohh ok, thanks giamai, the only reason I was confused is there use to be 'Ferrous' and 'Non-Ferrous' metals, but they disappeared several months ago, was wondering if it was the same thing.

Every once in a while you will see a resource labelled as "Unknown Ferrous Metal" or "Unknown Non-Ferrous Metal". That might have been what you were thinking of. Those will work but most people use the more specific stuff such as Steel. But any Ferrous or Non-Ferrous metal will work.

If you take a look at the resource tree on SWGCraft.com, it may make more sense.
