Thread: newbie question.. do please help.

Let me know if I have this about right. I just tried surveying for the first time.


First I set my survey machine on whatever mineral I want. (although they all seem the same to me)


Then it goes whompf and locates the best area. I run to that area and go whompf again then dig when I feel good about the spot.


If it's good, I'll get some of that mineral?


And, if I understand correctly, one day I'll get a harvester, which I'll put on the best whompf spot and it will keep working and is better than digging?


is that close?
