Thread: Unable to find failed auctions
I've been wandering around Corellia for awhile. I've also been crafting awhile. As I find people selling things in their dwellings, I've posted some offers periodically. Now several of these have failed and the items are waiting to be retrieved. Unfortunately the location says "corellia, corellia" rather than a town ora useful location.
Is there any way to find out where I put these things so I can go get them and free up some bazaar "slots" for sales?
If I make an offer at someone elses vendor, am I offering to sell it to them (so they can turn around and sell it to customers) or is it being offered directly to customers? How can I withdraw these offers?
I think you really need to keep track of the offers if you are going to be doing that, and don't expect very many takers.
When you make an offer on someone else's vendor the offer goes only to the person that owns the vendor, nobody else sees it.
I think the offer is just a convenient way to sell things to others when you can't meet up. So if you have say 10,000 hides for sale, advertise on the forum and find a buyer, you can just go stick it on that person's vendor as an offer instead of screwing around trying to meet up at 3am on a work night. You probably won't find buyers for random stuff unless you know for a fact that person wants what you have.
If you wait a couple of days the items that you offered should poof, thereby freeing up your slots.

Yes well I realize that now, but I was just running around looking at things and killing things and poking around other people's houses. A n00b in other words. If the location were a bit more descriptive I might be able to find them and get rid of them (they're all basic powerups that I made before I knew enough to look at the stats or experiment to get them up to 30%).

Well that might have been nice to know before hand but then what the heck. If it does die eventually then I'll get them back.
Thanks.
Well Magic was right. The items that were "stuck" in my available list in the bazaar are gone now. And since I've been more careful of putting things up on other people's vendors I don't have that problem anymore.
Thanks!
