I was wondering if anyone here sold backpacks with a full run of MA Components inside? Is there a willingness by the various crafters on your server to pay retail cost for full sets? If so, what do you charge? So far, there has been no interest on my server, but I figure it will take several weeks before people realize the service is available, heheh.

Well, Ive seen a couple vendors with crates of components, I personally only make them on an per-order basis. However, honestly, Ive never gotten a request for a full run of any MA components. The crafters that do use them generally are Master Artisans themselves. Still there might be a market for them if you can position your vendor in a crafting city or build crafting alliances with DEs and Architects.
If you want to sell them just put crates on your vendor, since Backpacks and items in them are counted towards your item limit there is no advantage to selling full backpacks.

Yeah, thats the thing I hope will be what makes the biz vaible after some time. I have MA, and plan on keeping it, but I know there are lots of people out there (mostly DE or AR) who have MA only for the 1 or 2 components they need. I figure they might enjoy dropping MA for something they are more interested in, if they can count on getting the components they need. We'll see.

You are better off selling a thousand run schematic and the resources for it rather than a full run of crates.
In that way, the buyer can save inventory space, you can save vendor space, and the buyer can run the component in lot sizes he needs...

Yes exactly! When you need large runs of such items it for an even larger run of finished product that you need to craft your own sub parts for. Anything to save back pack space is a good thing.
