Guess it was a tiny increase, but still a pain. At least they could make it so the resources stack, in order to get a sufficient stack, you have to harvest for at 8 hours. Guess its not so bad, prevents people from AFKing it, but can we get some nets or crabtraps, something, lol.

Don't everyone rush in at once now, lol. Anyway, a 6 second macro with a stamina buff and brandy does the trick, in case any of you like shellfish.

I've picked up crabs since the last patch... I guess I shouldn't experiment on my "harvester" so much next time...

Eh, sorry to ask, but I have no idea what you guys are talking about, what does an artisan need lobsters and oysters for, and how do you get them.

Well they are shellfish, and in this game they are called Crustaceans and Mollusks. Crustaceans are things like lobsters and crawfish, Mollusks are things like scallops and oysters. I like to be more specific than the game, but there really isn't anything called a lobster or oyster in game.

If you are interested in collecting shellfish, do a few missions for the NPC underneath the bridge in Anchorhead, you can't miss him. They are easy missions and he will give you a schematic for a shellfish harvesting tool, looks like a flora survey tool. Quality of resources does not matter when you make it, just like a survey tool. The schematic is a permanent schematic, meaning you will always have it, no matter what your profession.

After you make your tool, just go stand knee deep in some water, make sure you are not swimming, and use the tool. As I said above, to maximize your shellfish harvest, make a 6 second recurring macro, get a stamina buff, and drink brandy every so often. Only bad part is...........you can't really do it totally afk, the resources don't stack, you have to stack them manually.

Oh, and for artisan they count as MEAT.

There are plenty of easier ways of getting meat... is there some special use for these sea roaches that would justify the extra effort, or is it just for the sake of doing something different?

I got 3k of mollusks and 2k of Custies in about 2 and half hours lol.. SO BORING!! lol
