Sorry, I'm going up the surveying grind for the second time in my SWG career, and I just had to vent to get it off my chest. I just despise the survey grind!!!
The only bright spot to my night is that at least I found a 98% lube oil deposit, so I'm sampling the crap out of it.

Haha try finding a good spot to drop a few harvs.

Player city on the 80% spot
And the best spot iv run into 86% in the water

I found this was the easiest part. I just set up a macro before I went to bed, checked my exp bar when I got up. If you do it over some tat fiberplast you can even sell your findings for some decent cash on the bazzar.

I thhought this was the easiest branch to do. I did it with a very simple macro
/sample;
/pause;
/sit;
/stand;
/pause 40; (<-- Had to fiddle with this value based on my stats, but 40 was bang on)
Then rinse and repeat.
Did it sampling a nice 70% of Dantooine Iron, OQ 939

I use a simular macro but I don't sit, I Knell, that way if I get attacked by some passing meatlump or bunny I can still attack while I'm knelling and not get killed.

hehe well I will lose to a meatlump standing or sitting so I run a macro that has me me in a bad mood and b!tch!n about surveying.

Easiest way I found to get surveyxp was to run that macro in a starport. You can sample by where the ticket taker is, and you don't have to worry about being attacked.
Unless you're a combatant/special forces, but then you wouldn't be there anyways.

How about doing your sampling in someones campsite? gives them xp you xp and you can make it a social gathering heh!
