Ok, I just found out that not just factory XP has a granting radius, but also the produced items.

Who the hell thought of this marvellous bull**edit**? Seriously, I'm getting more and more disappointed about this game.

Could you explain what this means, please? Are you saying that the finished product of a factory produced item grants no UXP unless you are withing a KM? Clarify.

Apparently. Radius applied to factory items. Lots of people have suggested such a thing. And I made a pal use some of my factory crafted synth clothes, and guess what, my TXP amount hasnt raised.

How is this a loophole? If you don't think the time spent sitting next to your factory while its crafting is worth the experience, then don't sit around. If it is worth it to you, then do it.

Everything is a trade off in a game like this (except macro sampling, don't get me started) If you have better things to do than sit there waiting for the factory to churn stuff out, then by all means go do it and have fun. The ones who are hanging out by their machine are getting experience because they are theoretically attending to it while it does it's thing, which means experience.

So what is the radius anyway? If t's something big like 500m or more, then that makes no sense in the fiction I suppose. But if it's small then I'm fine with it.

Well, whatever. But applying radius on items themselves is plain stupid. Either grant it or not. Don't make me stand next to the armorcrafter until it used all units, just to gain the XP out of it.

That's unfortunate. One of the ways this game was supposed to be casual friendly was that you could get XP while offline (harvesters and factories and so on).
