Thread: The end of macro sampling?
Last night, I was fooling around with a sampling macro on the Tarquinas server. The macro has a "/sample; /pause 350; /stand; /sit; /pause 180" in it. About a minute or so into the /pause 350, my character stands up and I get a message like "You cannot sample any more. You can sample again in 11 seconds," or something like that. After 11 seconds passes, my character just keeps standing there. If I mannually enter a /sample command, he'll go back to work. If I don't do anything, he'll sit down when the /sit kicks in. Also, when he's sitting during the /pause 180, he sometimes randomly stands up and sits back down again.
Has anybody else seen this? Is this Sony's answer to concerns over macro sampling?
I see it too, anyone have a macro that over rides this??

I have similar marco like yours. My character would do what you said. I have been having this problem the second day I use my marco which was early last week. Not sure why it is. I guess it has to do with the timing part. Sometimes if we ran out of action early and caused a premature stand up...I don't know. Still don't have this figure out. With this buggy marco, I can only harvest about 40% compare to what it should if it is running normally like the first day.

I noticed this as well, andI have come to the conclusion that the maybe the macro command doesnt like 3 digit numbers after the pause. I may be wrong on this, but I made a macro the went like this
/sample;
/pause 90;
/stand;
/sit ;
/pause 30;
/stand;
This actually worked out for me. Did everything it was supposed todo.When I used a 100 or higher anywhere in my macro , the macro simply would not work correctly.
