Im working on Buisness IV (all I got is 1,2,3 in artisen) and im wondering if theres a quicker way to get xp than to just sit there all day crafting away? or which item is the best to craft for xp?

Look for items that use as few different materials as possible, in as large of quantities as possible. The large quanities are because the exp you get from an item is (total quantity x 2). So if you use 50 units of material, you get 100 exp (roughly). The fewer types of materials is just to save on your hands from clicking, and save time in finding separate types of materials.

I skilled up business 4 doing soft undershirts, which use only two materials (polymer and fiberplast). Other people like to practice on axes or survey devices. Not sure if there are others. Items without subcombines are easiest for grinding too.

To get through the grind on artisan I had a lot of money, so I just purchased a lot of metal and made chemical survey devices (practice) all the way up. However, I decided to pickup Novice Weaponsmith so I could make Weapon Upgrade Kits (available to Novice Weaponsmith, but experimentation through artisan) and since I'm a smuggler, I used flow analyzers.. I figured they were about 84xp per 10 seconds of crafting. I had 4 crafting tools going and I was back-to-back. Didn't take long though. In any event, just find a lot of metal and make one of the survey devices that gives you like 54xp per item and have about 4 general crafting tools running.

The best of his class at secret training grounds on Yinchorr, Kanos was an expert at the echani fighting form and in wielding a force pike. Kanos' fanatical loyalty, though, was his greatest and most dangerous weapon. Even after Palpatine was defeated at Endor, Kanos and his fellow Royal Guardsmen remained true to the Imperial ideal. As Imperial moffs and admirals began greedily carving up the Empire to fuel their own ambitions, Kanos attempted to uphold the codes of the New Order.

Nah, do personal harvesters. I ground my way through all of Domestic and Business in about an hour on those things.

If resources are not an issue then harvesters are the way to go.

If you're crafting harvesters, then resources shouldn't be an issue. If resources aren't an issue then craft harvesters. Simple, huh?

I actually just waited untill harvesters were changed back to general xp before advancing to DE. The 48k xp went by in about 45min. Before then I just did crafting tools.

Don't know about practising on your harvester but crafting them is the way to go, I usually get 400+ xp for every craft.

If you craft a harvester without practice, you just get a little deed for the harvester; you don't need to place it anywhere. Of course, if you're just gonna destroy them, you should use the practice option. But you can also sell them, and make some money to buy more resources, or you could actually use the harvesters, and get your own resources.

Tip: Once able to, make Travel Packs and hand them out to people (for free). I trained all of business from Usage Experience alone.

Over the next few days, we're going to be implementing a new system: forum rating balancing. We are aware that stars 1 and 5 have been overused by players, while stars 2-4 have shown little use at all. Our new plan calls for the gradual yet systematical nerfing of stars 1 and 5, resulting in an even playing field for our forum-goers. Thank you.

For me I crafted heavy axes. of course I was lucky to find a 90% wood area which I could harvest from.

I burned away most of the GCXP I needed by finding things that were not on the bazaar and making them. This got me some startup cash for setting up harvesters and what not.

When it came time to push to the next phase, like the jump from Engineering 4 to Droid Engineer, I grinded out harvesters (since they now give GCXP). I find grinding to be okay for small bursts, but if you really like crafting, try making things people want...this way you get a feel for the profession before mastering it. Power-leveling can be pretty lame...and pretty dull.

When i was going from engineering 2-3 i just sat in my workshop and made practice muzzles and it took me about a day.
