I've got 5K in one and 3K in another but it says I don't have enough to undeed.

How much do I have to put in to undeed and what other conditions need to be met?

It should be 3k credits, to undeed a personal mineral harvester. When you go to undeed it, what does it say.

Does it say: that you need 3k to undeed?

Does it say: you need to empty the hooper?

Does it say: you need to hit undeed again in 30 seconds to undeed this item?

The calculation I've seen for re-deed costs is 50 * (maintenance rate). It used to be 100, but they doubled the rate number to make it per hour instead of per 30 minutes.

So the maintenance on a personal is 30, so the redeed would be 1500. A medium: 60, so redeed 3000, and so on.

no problem. I was putting in credits. It says something to the effect that I don't meet the minimum deed requirements and if I hit destroy again i won't get the deed back.

Ok then. To meet the requirements, the harvester has to have enough credits in the maintenance pool (which is sounds like you've met), be turned off, and have an empty hopper. If the hopper shows a resource, but zero units, turn it on until one has been harvested, turn it back off, retrieve the resource, and it should be completely empty.
