While surveying there are 2 types of interupts.
1) It will ask me to focus my attention on the rich location for an action cost.
- This one works well, I am able to etract a rich sample
2) It will ask tell me of a previously undetected location and it will ask me if I want to find that location.
- This doesnt seem to work, maybe I'm not doing it right? But it indicates that a waypoint has been inserted into my datapad. But no new waypoints are visible.
Sorry if this is posted in the bug list, after doing a search and advanced search i couldnt find anything.

Until they fixed the waypoint sticking but, I could never get #2 to work either.
It doesn't create a new waypoint, it moves your 'resource survey' waypoint. And it does seem to be working now (for me anyway).

I've had this work for me on bloodfin. The only annoying part is that half the time, the wp goes to a place i can't sample - like the middle of the river. I had this happen 3 times in a row to me last night - it just kept moving parallel and thus stayed in the river/creak (10m wide). I know moving away from a water would fix it, but then i'm not on the best concentration. Oh well.

They both work for me. The waypoint is usually a couple of meters away the other one takes time to come up though and I get the same amount I was getting before.
