Simple enough thought really. Master of virtually any other class gives a significant step up in ability

We get some rather obscure schematics

Do people feel that +10 artisan assembly and +10 artisan experimentation would be reasonable to add in?

I would say, that the majority of professions feel that their own master box doesn't give them enough. In the case of Master Artisan, those obscure schematics are things that are needed by other elite crafters. This sounds like quite a prek compared to what some other professions get.

OK Master Armoursmith you get Comp AND skills

Master Weaponsmith you get a long list of sought after weapons including flamethrowers AND skills

Master CH you get to have an extra pet out AND skills

Master Scout you get bonuses on all your skills

Master Medic you get schematics AND skills

The only other profession that desperately need Master Artisan components are DEs and they all take it anyway

All of the combat classes get significant passive bonuses AND abilities and all of the crafter classes get highly sought-after schematics AND better skills

Which are these other professions which don't get a lot at master? I honestly can't see any in the game at all except ours

im nearing master artisan and im a novice armorsmith, what does the extra stuff enable me to make or enhance ?

It goes in droids and repair tools. Only weapon and armour tools currently work and most weaponsmiths and armoursmiths refuse to do repairs. Most droid engineers are also Master Artisans because they need a lot of these components

I think they go in a couple of other things too but really not a lot

I must say that Master Artisan was a bit of a disappointment. There really aren't many benefits.

At least with Master Musician I got a new song, a new instrument, and the ability to do mind buffs.

I am hoping when player-made vehicles get implemented that the server gods will throw us a bone and add that to the Master Artisan list of items. Probably not, though...

master entertainer

you get a new instrument ( very nice )

you get a new song ( which you can not perform in a group of non-master entertainers )

you get 2 new dances ( 1 is bugged in animation )

you get +5 in dancers wound healing and +5 in musicians wound healing ( wounds are faster healed then battle fatigue, you always will have to wait for bf after your mind wounds are healed )

lots of stuff is needed in the master artisan box... I have master artisan, but I still buy all my crates from my neighbor who sells them as i dont want to waste a lot on an equip factory nor spend all that time making the suckers.. as an architect i need GP modules , power conds, mem mods, energy distrubutors. Other professions need things too and if you can supply with these parts, most would rather buy than make themselves.
