I've done this once before, but cannot remember how now. Would someone be kind enough to remind me?

Also, does the other person have to be grouped with me or be standing next to the harvester/house?

I think it is like /transferstructure or /transferdeed or something. And the way it works is that you will need to be beside an installation (harvester) when you use the command and I think inside the structure for a house. You do not need to be grouped

For a house, you target the control panel inside and use the /transferstructure (name) command. I would assume it would work the same for other installations, but I don't know that for sure.
