Thread: Can you load a scimatic into a factory even if you don't have the skill to make that object?

Here's why I ask. I'm a Master artisan going for Architect but I'm out of skill points. I know I'll need some of the componants that you get with Master Artisan. So if I make scimatics for those things for a factory will I be able to lod it into the factory after I forfit the points for Master Artisan points???

Yes, anyone who owns a factory can use a schematic, even if they couldn't make it. The only problem you may run into is that you have to use the exact same resources for the factory run as you used to make the schematic. If you use "Oostak Sedimentary Ore" when crafting the schematic, you can't do a factory run with "Grukle Sedimentary Ore". So either stock up on the resources you used in the schematic(s), or find a Master Artisan who you can partner with to restock your MA components.
