Hi,

I'm only an Artisan, no other profession. I was grinding away through Artisan when I got to Engineering IV to make Bone Armor chest and leg pieces. I noticed these weren't showing up on my crafting tool and checked my datapad and they are there.

I read about using the /selectDraftSchematic ## and choosing the correct number in your datapad. For some reason, entering the number of what is supposed to be these items they are not. They get skipped.

I also lost experimentation. I cannot choose to experiment on anything, including bone pieces that I does show up in my crafting tool.

I also cannot make schematics. I don't even get an option before create item.

I tried public and personal crafting stations and by myself.

I tried logging off for about 15 mins and came back. Same result.

I logged off for the night, came back, same result.

Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, is it fixable?

We're you using a specialized crafting tool or just a generic crafting tool?

It won't work if your using the generic one.

More complicated items need more than your standard issue generic crafting kit. If you check the Bone Armor chest draft schematic in your datapad, it will tell you the crafting requirements on the first line or two.Ones you'll see are "specialized crafting tool" (means you have to use a clothing/armor, food/chem, structural, or weapon/droid/general item tool), "public crafting station" (you have to stand next to one of the big stations in town of the same type as the tool), and "private crafting station" (you have to stand next to a crafting station ina private residence or have a droid with a crafting module).

You also need a specialized crafting tool and a crafting station (either public or private) to experiment or make a schematic.

It sounds like you need to make a Clothing/Armor tool. It's pretty light on resources (around 15 metal and 8 chemical), so you should be able to use your generic tool to start you off.
