Im a wookie Artisan III on all except business ill do that once i hit IV on other 3 well my question is i got the blueprints for bowcaster but cant yet craft one do i need to be a weaponsmith and if so why give this blueprint to newbies ?

All wookiees get a blueprint for a bowcaster. My character is a wookiee musician/creature handler/pistoleer and she's got one. I think you should be able to craft it as long as you have a weapon/droid/generic item crafting tool, a private weapon/droid/generic item crafting station and the correct components. No weapon crafting skillls needed.

Just look on the bazaar or talk to other artisans/weaponsmiths for the components then slap your own together.

I would love to make one of these, however:

Where do I find the doonium iron or quadranium steel? Everything else I think I can buy somewhere. Has anybody made one yet?

I would recommend going to swgcenter.com and looking at the live resource tree for your server. If the iron and steel that you need is on your server go slap down two personal harvesters (sell for around 400-750 credits on the bazzaar) get you say 1k of energy for around 350-1k credits and wait a day. Total cost plus maintenace would be 3k-5k. Or just hut on the bazaar or post on your server website that you would like to buy some.
