Thread: Lost a travel pack, please help.
While this may not seem like an Artisan question, you all would be the best ones to help me figure it out. I was experimenting with moving items in my house. (I still don't know how to get better control of it like I've seen in some stores.) While doing so, I inadvertantly placed my new travel pack filled with nothing but hide and bones into the wall of my house.
I tried to click it again, to at least move it back to where it was, but I lost it, and I can't target anymore. Any suggestions on how to retrieve it would be most appreciative, as well as commands to fine tune the placement of items. I would like to open my own shop soon, but want to be able to display my wares in a nice fashion.
Thanks.
/pickup [item name]
If your travel pack just named "Travel Pack", stand as close to it as possible, and move all other travel packs out of the way.
As for moving - forget the radial menu. Use the commands
/move forward x
/move back x
/rotate left x
/rotate right x
So as you are facing the object, /move back 1 would move it back towards you 1 step. Play about with these a bit and you'll soon get the hang of it.
Well, I tried the /pickup [item name] (I'm pretty sure I remember what I named it. I had just named to something like Hide and Bones), using every possible combination, and it didn't work. I'm assuming from other experiments I did, that you have to be able to see the item to use this command.
If only there were some way to either get a list of all the items in a house, to make sure I'm calling for the proper item, or a way to target items through walls (much like being able to target MOBs through walls. Any ideas on these? I'm open to anything at this point.
Thanks again.
You could write a ticket and a CSR might be able to get it or a least destroy it so the item cost is not on the house anymore. It bites when you run out of room and you have a lost back pack in the walls...
