Thread: Macro Bug selectDraftSchematic XX calls the same schematic

I'm having trouble with my crafting macros. Many of my macros which use the "selectDraftSchematic XX" commmand are broken- they call the same schematic regardless of what number I have entered in place of "XX." The schematic they call is the wall module, which isthe second-to-last schematic in my data pad (followed by the deadeye decoder).

Higher-numbers (75+)call the wall module. Lower numbers (15 or less) call random schematics (not what they should call). I ahvne't found the threshold between wall module and random.

Some of the macros which are no longer working worked fine early this morning, before I went AFK. I came back to find the behavior I describe above. Logging doesn't help. I am not near a crafting station.

I have three ideas about the problem: 1)I justmade novice architect last night. The new schematics have overloaded my data pad (even though it says I'm only at 80%) and this is responsible for the problem. 2)IThe problem lies with thediscrepancy between crafting-tool types and they way they count schematics, and I'm just missing something relating to this. 3) Macros or datapad counting are bugged.

Ok. If you select a schematic # greater then what is availible, you'll default to the last schematic in your list. (The Wall module) While the lower numbers are actually calling the right schematic. Just remember that if you want schematic #40 on your list, it won't always be #40 for that Tools list. Hope it helps.

Also, I believe the schematic # is specific to which crafting tool you are using. If you use a structure tool, it might be #12, but if you use a weapon/general it might be #178. I always use the general crafting tools for grinding.

My schematic numbers change regularly. I have to re- figure out the schematic number almost everytime I try to use a macro

Hmm. I thought you just counted from the top down starting at 00.. It has to do with what crafting device your using too?

Yes, it does depend on what tool you use. Because if you make a macro using a Structure tool, it may be schem 01 for a wall module, and may be 120 for a GCT...
