Ok this is for all you macro surveyors out there.
I am a noob artisan and was wondering how you make a macro to survey repeatedly for you so you don't have to type in /sit or /sample. I looked at a couple of macros here on the website but they don't seem to work. Can anyone give me a sample surveying macro? Oh btw I am not grinding because of a holo.

This works apparently... although I don't use any macros
/sample;
/pause 4;
/sit;
/pause 30;
/stand;
/pause 4;
/ui action toolbarSlot11;
Note you can't wear armour.....Put the macro in F12. The pop ups that come on the screen won't affect the macro. You may need to adjust the pause to 35 or 40 to allow you to regain strength.

through in a /kneel before the /sample, or just use /kneel instead of /sit. the appropriate pause time will depend on your survey skill. I use a macro all the time while I'm sleeping, and it works fine for me. You just have to experiment and see what pauses will work with your character.

Oh yeah, and there's no need to use that ui actiontoolbar junk for a sample macro, at the end of your macro chain put /macro "macro name". ie. /macro sample. and you avoid having to put the macro hotkey in a certain spot on your hotkey bar.
