Thread: factories, please help

hello

can some one please explane how factories in swg work. can i just load them with resoruces and make then craft a scematic? if so do i get xp (ie general crafting if i craft a fire work)

You will want to make schematic first... to run the factory, you will need to put in the exact same ingredients that were used to make the schematic. For example, if you make a schematic using a particular steel. (we'll call it "bubba" steel), then you can only use "bubba" steel for the factory run... meaning that any other kinds of steel you put into the factory will not work.


2- You do not get crafting exp for factory items, however you do get useage exp if someone uses the item made.

you do get ex for factory runs you just need to be near it but its like 10% or so of the total xp for the item i know cause like a week ago i was doing a factory run of electronics standing near it chatting in guild chat and all of a sudden i quaified for for a novice elite prof.
