What do ordinary crystals do? asking on this board since i guess u guys would most likely know

not sure what you mean... if it just says "Crystal" for name and is listed as a melee weapon component, then it is used to upgrade lightsabers.

Ive never heard of an "Ordinary Crystal", now force crystals i know what they are for

There are also various types of crystal resources which can be sampled/mined. They are ared in building various things.

Yeah I got a crystal a long time ago that just said crystal.
It looks like a force crystal but isn't.
Maybe it is just junk. I stuck it on my table with a bunch or other force crystals though for decoration.

If it's a "crystal", "force crystal" or "twin [force] crystal" it can be used in the construction of a light saber (or twin-bladed light saber) ... each crystal has different properties but these are only viewable by a jedi... at least this is how I understand it!
