Thread: Fireworks Package Bug Workaround

I know we've been having trouble with the fireworks shows not working so here's what I did to get it to work.
I disconnected and reconnected (always the 1st thing I try)
/kneel, of course
Then I clicked on the Fireworks package in my inventory and pressed the "1" key.
This, instead of highlighting (1) Launch, and clicking it through the radial menu.
It worked, didn't try it again since, so scientifically I can't be sure why it worked.

Ok. After you do this a couple of times, it will actually take off....very cool!

So, I've always had a problem where the first firework I click on, be it a package or a single rocket, will dissapear from my inventory but not launch... is this the same problem? I got around it by making sure I had a type-1 to waste before I launched the package. Or are you having additional problems with the package?

The first time you go to launch a firework from your inventory, it does not launch. It just dissappears from your inventory. When you go to launch the fireworks package, you are lucky if you can get the above method to work. I got two fireworks packages to work within the last three weeks. I reported a bug report, but get the canned response. I have a fireworks vendor and would love to add the packages to it...but there is no way I am selling something to a customer that is buggy. It is against my ethics.
I hope you get further with the devs than I did.
