Thread: Surveying please?

Well I got artisan as my holo as well, but I actually wanted to master merchant anywyas so this works out great. Then I decided I want to go to Armorsmith for awhile and work on Wookie Armor. The only thing I really dont understand is the surveying side of it, any good tips on how to make surveying fun while I do it? I've never done anything but combat for the long time i've played this, so this is all new to me. I'm trying to figure out how to survey and harvest good items. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know many of you absolutly hate grinding/grinders, but I want to get master artisan and am having trouble getting past surveying.... if anyone could post/PM me a good surveying macro with a couple tips on how to use it I would greatly appericiate it. Thanks alot

If your desperate I'd suggest using the 'search' function as they have been posted on here a good many times in the last week.

Artisan was my stating profession. I got survey very fast, no macros. You can sample while crafting. You can sample while camping. You can sample and craft while waiting for shuttles.
I was broke, so I did a lot of crafting missions between Tyrena and Vreni Island. I never minded a shuttle wait as there was always something nearby worth sampling.

The best way to do surveying is if you set up a camp and then take samples with in the camp. By doing this you can gain the xp you need wiile regaing your ham bars. You also can craft while doing this so then you can get three types of xp at the same time.
