Thread: IMPORTANT! Vehicle Dissappearing Reports
Approximately where did you travel to/from?
How long did it take?
Were you attacked allong the way?
Did you notice your vehicle not decaying when it should during the trip? Where were you when this occurred?
Was there anything unusual that occurred during, before, or after the trip?
This just happened to me for about the 3rd time this weekend.
I was on Tatooine approximately travelling between Bestine and Anchorhead. I was close to some reds, but I don't believe I was being attacked at the time. I was about 750m WNW of Anchorhead when it happened.
I know this isn't too much detail, but that's what I can provide at this point... I will post more if it happens again.

Uh oh, when programmers start asking these kinds of questions that means they can't reproduce it...therefore can't fix it.
Three times it happened to me now. Whiletravellingbetween Restuss to Narmle on Rori.
The firsttrip waswhen I was almost all of the way to Narmle. It could be that I hadn't touched the mouse or keyboard for a very time. It takes me about 12-13 minutes to make the journey on a swoop, so I had been riding at least that long without any stops. I was attacked along the way, but only byanimals(that quickly ate my dust)and not at the point that the bike disappeared. I can recall nothing unusual occurringbefore or afterthat.
The second was going from Restuss to Narmle... I was dumped in the middle of a lake. There weren't any creatures around. It was roughly halfway between the two cities. I was attacked along the way. Had been riding at least 10 minutes. Nothing unusual occurred before or after that.
The third was just outside of Restuss...at those points around every city where you hang up a little for a half a second or so(don't know if other people experience that too). I don't recall if I had been riding very long. I had just returned from some harvesters. I had been attacked along the way. Nothing unusual occurred before or after that.
Yeppers. My brother and my own vehicles both disappeared at seperate times in coronet near reds each time tonight. Had to make camp to call out again.

I play on the Bria server, and everytime I repair my vehicle halfway between Moenia and New Solah on Naboo it will autostore everytime.
The vehicle will also autostore if the radial menu still has the Enter Vehicle option available after entering the vehicle. To stop this type of autostore, click enter vehicle till the Exit Vehicle option appears on the vehicles radial menu.
These 2 bugs are separate, the vehicle will still auotostore after being repaired no matter if the vehicle radial says exit vehicle or not.
After the vehicle autostores after repair and is recalled out of the pad, it appears to be stable and will not autostore unless the enter vehicle is visible on the radial menu. Make sure to click it till it says exit vehicle.
Hope this helps,

One more thing. Make sure you exit your vehicle when you repair it, and store it after the repair, so that a repaired version of your vehicle is in your data pad.
Otherwise the unrepaired one will be in there as you drive off in a Ghost Repaired one.
This will result in you wasting your money, since when the Ghost Autostores, you will call the broken original from your datapad.
Even after storing the repaired vehicle, it will still autostore on you, but when you call it back out, at least it will be repaired and not broken

Oh, thanks for that. I almost never get off the vehicle to repair it.
Play on Shadowfire and generally drive in first-person but switch to third when I arrive at the destination. I also always use the radial vice slash commands.
Had my swoop disappear on me twice on Naboo while travelling through the forest in first-person.
On Corellia. I had just gotten off the vehicle to check my harvester. As soon as the harvester radial came up...my vehicle blinked out
On Corellia again. I arrived at my house (-243 -3324..only coords I can remember heh) and exited the vehicle. I only clicked on the exit and it disappeared. This one may have happened from a lag spike though.
Thanks much.

Didnt pay too much attention but I'm pretty sure I was either on my way from mission 1 to mission 2 or on my way back to town after completing mission 2 when it vanished, and I seem to recall the fact that I'd only just started moving off
As far as what's going on when it happens, I can tell ya it's happened when I was attacked, when I wasn't attacked, when my vehicle was repaired and when I hadn't repaired it at all. In all instances though I'm usually traveling between 2 cities, though I rarely travel more than 6km in a instance. If they cannot find this bug soon, I would suggest they let people generate vehicles while outside a town or camp, at least until they find and fix this problem.
