i currently have business 3 in artisan. I was wondering if I placed the vendor then surrendered my skills if i still keep my vendor. I need a vendor but I really need to spend the artisan points elsewhere. any help on this would be grateful.

It is possible to sacrifice all merchant skills and retain vendor and advertising functionality as long as you require no changes be made to your setup.

You'll keep the vendor, but it is generally accepted (I think) that this is a bug. The merchants in particular are itching to get this one fixed.
