I created my first schematic while crafting (was not a great sucess or anything, just wanted to try). It is in my datapad but when I try to craft it the schematic does not show up. I have noticed that in my datapad it is under data not schematics. How do I access that schematic to make the item?

A schematic is used in combination with a factory. You need the exact same type of resources that you had when you made the schematic, you load them into the factory, load in the schematic and start it up. Don't forget maintenance and power or it will go bye bye.

Schematics are used to mass produce the item in a factory. Clothing, armor, and their components are made in a clothing factory. Food, meds, and BE tissues are made in a Food factory. Buildings (and maybe furniture, can't remember) are made in a structural factory. Everything else is made in an equipment factory.

To use the schematic, you'll have to get a factory of the appropriate type, add maintenance and power, insert the schematic, and provide it with resources. The resources have to exactly match the ones used to make the original schematic.
