Maybe I'm a bad searcher, but I can't seem to find the new crafting missions. I've looked in the commercial guilds in Bestine and Mos Eisley.

No luck here either. I searched all the "commercial" guild halls in both Tyrena and Coronet to no avail.

Not worth trying to find, below is my story from another post:
The contractor is live today as promissed.
I spoke with the contractor and he let me chose a weaponsmith quest. He then further asked if I would like a easy, medium, or hard quest - being Master WS, I of course chose Hard.
He politely handed me a crate to store the 5 stun batons I was supposed to create for him.
After politely accepting his challege I walked to the shuttle port, paid 200+ credit to shuttle back to my weapons lab. I collected a pre-made crate of power conditioners and the other required resources. I proceeded to make 5 stun batons as contracted, not bothering to waste my time to experiment on the stun batons since they would disappear to the contractor.
Wanting to determine the XP gained in the crafting of the 5 batons, I started with 39,504 weapons crafting XP and I finish with 40,179 XP, a complete gain of 675 XP. In order to craft a stun baton, you need to have complete Melee Weapons Crafting 4 (which requires 77,000 crafting XP to complete that box alone).
Having proudly finished the order, I headed back to the shuttleport to deliver the goods. I paid my 200+ credits to shuttle back, crud, I have to wait 4 min 20 seconds (MUCH better than 9'20" tho). I presented my goods to the contractor, he awarded me with an additional 175 crafting XP and 120 credits.
My expextations of a satisfying mission or usefull mission was zero, so no sadness here, it is just not reaching the goal of "adding" to non-master crafters gaming experience. At least pay for my shuttle flight or give me enough credits to pay for material costs, Jeez - Help a brother Rodian out from time to time.
I hope SOE didnt burn to many high dollar dev hours creating this content, wont be used much.

At the very least it should be on the same level of payout for the crafting missions on the artisan terminals. They way this was implemented is just stupid.

Thanks for the report. Now I'm not going to bother trying myself. It's apparent the devs haven't learned anything from the entertainment mission terminals. That payout is ridiculously low, even for new players. Why bother when you can run a survey mission in the same amount of time for 7 times the money [or 14 if you run two at once... or 28 if you have 4 skill boxes in a combat skill....].

How much of an XP bonus do you get from practice? Wondering, because it looks like you get about a 20% XP bonus for these mission (I might be wrong, my math skills are crap).

I think you get 10% from practice mode. But if you practice as quickly as you can, that 10% will CRUSH the 20% you apparently get from the missions, because the missions take up valuable grinding time.
Yet another weak implementation of what might have been a very good idea.

I think it's 5% from practice.
Still, quick grinding will easily surpass a pointless quest.
