i got a couple questions,
first, when i try to make a good general crafting tool i cannot get better then a -8.32 rating and theres no expirimenting on them
the resources stats that i am useing is: Metal/Copper = OQ 878, Conductivity 817. Chemical = OQ 848.
Shoulden't i at least get a positive number for a rating?
Second is about making components like the Enfergy Distributer. There are two things to expiriment with. one is Exp Durability and the other is Exp Effectiveness.
Which is better to build up and why when we look at our components after creation we cannot see thier rating?

hmmm....did you try experimenting next to a public crafter? Thats the keythat allows experimentation.
Its been a long time since i fooled with a generic crafter. I know I was able to max outa personal weapon crafter(15.00). Maybe you cant experiment with generics.

Current known bug, you can not experiment on a Generic Crafting Tool.

I think this was an unintentional bug with the "weapon and general" crafting tool fix from the last major publish. They removed alot of the craftable and experimentable items from the weapon and general tool. And for some reason, now the only way to craft a Generictool iswith an existing Generictool (sorta like 'what came first, the chicken or the egg"). And since you can't experiment on a generic kit, you will end up with low end tools. I don't know if this will be changed or not...
