the highest i've ever been able to get on water or wind at Survey4 is 66%. is this pretty standard? i searched every inch of corellia for water the other day, i swear.

Have you tried ore yet?

no actually, is it low in concentration? i'm used to finding 95+% on metals and chems...just wondering if this is a normal concentration to find for these resources or not.

Depending on what I'm chasing, it can take 15 or 20 minutes just to find the peak of a single vein of ore.

And if I need it really bad, I'll throw every harvester I can down on it.

I, personally, have never seen a 70% concentration of any kind of ore.

Acctually I find that my 54% Wind Generator make more than enough power for 5 other extractor's since you can only have 10 down you only need 2 which isnt really that bad. just keep it stocked up with cash and running.

One thing to bear in mind, is that the BER of wind power generators is a lot higher than that of mineral and chemical extractors. I'm working with personal versions here, but a personal mineral extractor or pers. chemical extractor usually starts out base BER 1, you can experiment it up to BER 3 (I've never been able to get higher, then again, haven't really tried hard to). Wind generators start at BER 4, and I easily experiment them up to BER 8. So you get a lot more "bang" for the buck - a wind generator at a 50% or so spot can really crank out a lot of energy; two of them will produce enough power to easily run 5 or 6 extractors, so lower concentrations shouldn't be much of a problem.

Not sure about water though.
