On the off chance you're a Master Artisan, you can make swoops and get there in no time without a macro.

Making wind turbines worked for me, took me an hour to go from engineer 3 to weaponsmith. As long as you can find enough mats cheaply enough you will have no probs at all.

How about grinding mineral survey devices? I believe it only uses metals and will get you to Engineering 4 pretty quick.

In a huge, huge, really stupid mistake, I surrendered a novice weaponsmith not knowing I'd lose all of the xp (duh!). Now, I need tips on grinding back up to that in a short period of time.
Macros would be helpful as well.
Thanks a lot.

Try speederbikes instead of swoops. They give you double the XP and with less resources needed.

Bah!
Speederbikes are for wimps.
Hardcore grinders make AV-21's in practice mode for xp!

Should I really grind speederbikes? Because I gathered up my resources and only had enough to make 5 swoops, so if speederbikes use less and yield more, I'm all for it. (Using personal extractors because I'm poor, but I do have a BER14 Fusion-Ion Gen
)
