cant macro crafting tools it has an interupt so what else gives good xp to grind with?

hu? why so?

afaik, wind generators give 425xp/ item, same as mineral extractors for example. Besides that they use 260 ressources whereas a mineral extractor uses 250 ressources for same xp ...?

I just finished the Master Artisan grind, here's what I used:

Heavy Axe. It uses a moderate amount of resources (roughly 20 metal, 20 wood) and gets you over 80 xp per axe. Of course you need Engineering IV to build it, but it fit well with my grind. I went straight to Engineer IV before touching domestic and business, in part so I could get harvesters and have enough stuff to grind, in part to get good schematics to finish off the others. Grinding axes I got through domestic and business in no time.

Working my way up engineer first, I was grinding bone armor pieces. This worked well for me since I am also a scout, and always had a largish ready supply of hides and bone as a side effect of my scouting activity. Plus I could see them at the bazaar and make good money.

Working on scout at the same time as artisan is useful. In addition to a hide/bone supply for armor grinding, when you come to your survey grind, you find yourself a good spot to sample, build a camp there, and get camping and survey xp at the same time (plus quicker HAM restoration).
