Fat noob here I hear and read a lot about experimentation and XP for it.
But personally WHAT IS IT????? I don't actually know what's it even for. Please HELP! (FAT noob)

Experimentation allows you to have a chance to make your items better (or possibly worse). To experiment you need particular kinds of crafting tools (general crafting tools won't cut it) and then you need to craft by the same type of crafting station (you've seen them, they are everywhere).
