I have a question, I was reading on the general website that people are up -in-arms over resources not shifting. A few say they need resources to make upper weapns, armor exc. Why is shifitng important other then getting a chance to have aharvesteron a greater %? Does the shift deplete one miniral for another?

Can anybody explaine this to me please and how it will help me as a weaponsmith

Yes, when resources shift the resources change. Some things require specific type of resource like Carbonite ore, other things require a specific resource like so and so type of gemstone. That specific resource might not exist anywhere, on anyplane in a galaxy for a while until it shifts in.

The flip side is that they ships every 7-10 days. So if a resource isn't there one week, it may be the next. Or it very well may be on another planet.

Yes, what is under your harvestor will eventually shift. You cannot mine something indefinately. The longest I ever mined something was 6 days before it went away.

The resources it has already harvested will still be in the hopper. You can't loose what you have already mined.

The percentagses and resources might change, they don't all change every shift. If you have the luck of the gods then something nice will shift 'under' your harvester. Don't hold your breath though.
