Thread: Crafting Tool Effectiveness Ratings
I guess this should be obvious but what is the preferred effectiveness for a crafting tool...should it hover around zero?.. I have experimented a couple and maxed the effectives at about 52% in the build screen and each of the crafting tools after examining them have and effectiveness rating of .69, while others that I did not experiment range between 7.5 and 11.5. Just wondering what sort of value I'm looking for here. Is a negative number exceptional or just the other side of what looks like a potential error margin? Appreciate any help on this.

Ah ha. I've been digging all over looking for this answer... however, just to clarify:
I experimented on my crafting tools before the patch that gave us this new effectiveness rating, so I don't recall what my numbers were in the build screen, but I just looked at my Armor and Clothing crafting tool and it said -7.6. That's not good, huh? It doesn't look good. There aren't many cases where minus something is good. /sigh. Maybe now I have more experimentation points and all I should try again and compare. /heads back out to the mines.
i'm master artisan and i can achieve 99% effectiveness on all things just about
and my tool show a report of 14.95 i think which is the highest it will go
without experimentation it comes up in the -13.45 or something
