I am a marksman, scout, and squad leader, and I dabble on the side as an artisan making powerups, which works out great for me since then I always have good ones for myself and I can make a little money with it. Anyways, I was running through coronet on my way out of the starport and shoutedI was selling powerups.

Get a tell from some guy saying he wanted 5 +30 damage, 5 +30 speed and 2 +30 wound. Said he'd give me 1k and to msg him when they were done.

Well to make what he asked I would need to make about 24 or more since the stats are random, plus I don't have much experimentation so I would have about 1/3 failureswhich actually means I would need to grind through at least 36 (how do I lower the failures btw?). about 360 resources, which I paid about 5cr each for.

So I messaged him back saying I would make the 12 for 400cr each. And he message me back asking if I was insane, that was WAY too much, but he would do me a favor andwould pay 2k.

I told him no, 400cr each, I usually sell them for 500cr, 400cr for10 or more (I should charge more for specific requests),and this was a deal considering the resources and the time involved, and that in the time it would take me to fulfill his order I could run missions that would net me more money.

He called me a prik

This went back and forth for a long time with him threatening to cause me to lose business etc.

Now I only dabble in artisan and this transaction made me want to never go there again. How do you guys handle it? Wasn't sure if I should just ignore him or what, even though its a small part of my playing I certainly don't want to get the reputation of beinga jerk and really want to offer high quality powerups, but I don't want to lose money on them and still want to have good service.

Just put them on ignore and walk away. If you have a shop add them to the ban list as well.

Yeah bud don't worry about that guy. If he doesn't want to pay your price that's his problem, not yours. You're defintitely not overcharging for what you put into those powerups. I've got some very patient customers, they're the ones I work hard to please. That guy you're talking about, don't worry about him or any rep you'll incur from him--there are FAR more decent players out there.
