I got business III so i could place one vendor. It's that boxy looking thing. At first, it was only 1 cred per day for maitenance. I was like, sweet! I placed some stuff on the vendor and it shot up to 20K a day. WHy the jump in price, it is per item? And is this to encourage people to get to Merchant?

The price is 1cr per hour per 1000cr of the total price of all items on all terminal and droidvendors. You must have about 833,000cr worth of stuff on yours. The merchant's NPC vendor is only 15cr per day regardless of how much you have on it which wasn't really intended by the devs, but has stuck since the droid/terminal costs are too high. There may be some adjustment down the road.
