Artisan Archive

Fired up SWG last night and noticed two new EU servers in the list.

Woohoo, thinks I. Now I can set up my secondary character as a crafter on a nearby server (main character is a ranger/CH on Eclipse).

LOL, talk about a mad dash. I reckon 90% of the people I saw on the server were either pure artisan or an artisan/combat/medic mix. Now I can understand this as the server is new and so there isn't much stuff on the bazaar, but what made me laugh is that a large proportion have come over from the US servers and we are all grinding like crazy to get to master artisan and specialise ASAP.

There is lots of friendly rivalry, in most towns you will see people in default artisan clothes running around shouting:

"woohoo, just got survey3!"

"**edit** I still need 150xp for that"

änyone teaching Eng2??"

"look for the copper, there's a 70% drop by the shuttleport"

etc, etc....

I think I saw one, and only one marksman with no artisan, and he was wondering around looking glum with his CDEF shouting:

"tell me when one of you can build a D18!"

Sounds very very familiar .

Last night I saw a guy running aroundlooking for a tailor. LOL, as if anyone has gotten past Artisan yet. But it's fun though when everyone is looking for low level skills to get taught. Stacking up on Apprentice XP is easy this way. I only bought the game like a month ago, so the US servers already existed for quite a while and the world was fully populated, even with masters. This time I'm there from the start and loving it. Everyone huddles close together for surveying once someone finds a high concentration of a particular resource, because no-one can make harvesters for some time to come.

What I found strange was that I couldn't start in Bestine (which I'm used to since my main char plays there on Starsider). But thankfully I could take the shuttle from Mos Entha, and found Bestine pretty crowded already.

hehe, I just started a char on Chimeara. Fully combat so I'll be needing your weapons as soon as you can make them

Please post here in lack of galaxy forums for the new ones, as soon as you can make weapons and you'll get your customers quickly I think hehe

we all working as fast as we can to get to classes that wil help the servers grow there is a group of us that have been waiting for a euro server as we are uk based we will have you combat classes your armour weapons clothing as soon as we can

Dunno how other planets are but there is a lovely group of unattended macroers in coronet
