Artisan Archive

Ok So I got my first Holocron a 2 weeks ago and it told me to master artisan. Initially I was kinda pissed cause Id have to drop some of my combat skills for it but people kept telling me

"Master Artisan? You're lucky thats so easy to master, you can master it in a day"

Well is Master Artisan is so easy to get, anybody want to fill me in how? I don't even know the first thing about artisan except building and surveying. Also mentioned some macros you can spam and leave on all night or something?

Please help lol

today i got done with exactly half of artisan, without any friends to help, entirely on my own with no help whatsoever in a foreign server and i didnt make any mineral survey tools either

Besides the sruveying, go up the engineering tree first. Keep making Survey tools, until you can make personal harvesters. Then grind the rest of the experience on them.

I went back to play my original character again after a long layoff. I had gotten him up to novice architect. Now I am finishing the rest of the artisan skills. The big problem is finding anyone who wants artisan training on an established server.

Sorry, I can't tell you much about macros, I have seen them published, but I never use them myself.

Actually when I leveled up to Novice architect, we were still getting 4 exp per unit of resource when making weapons powerups. You had to make a bunch of them, but you made the most progress unit of resource. The way things work now, it doesn't matter what you make, you pretty much get the same exp per resource. You don't need to make survey tools. Crafting kits is another popular item to make.

artisan mission terminals in a place like anchorhead, 50 meters and 100 practice artisan xp, no resources used, can master artisan in less then 4 hours.

go up the Domestic Arts tree first. and once you reach Domestic Arts 4 grind Travel Packs, they give like 140xp each.

Actually, Knives, if you grind away personal harvesters, they will give you around 500+ exp per. You just need alot ofsteel aluminum and ore.

As for the Surveying tree, you can survey while you grind.
