I heard that the resources shift once a week.Does this happen anytime or is there a particular day that it happens.I'm just curious since I'm getting ready to place my first harvestors but if the resources are about to shift I'd just hold off.Thanks

it's usually about every 5 days but seems somewhat random

I've had one of my harvesters on a site for about 2 weeks now. I hope it lasts a little bit as it is pretty good stuff.

I had my 4 harvesters on a really good spot with several veins over 58%, 3 over64%. I logged on today and checked on them, and all of the resources have changed, and the eemofie I was mining is now 0%. Also my wind generators experienced the same thing. Is this the 'resource shift' that I've heard about?

Generally, if working properly, resources will stay around for 5-8 days then shift out to, maybe, be replaced by a different resource or none at all. If it does get replaced it will likely be at a different %.

The in-out times are random and can even change from server to server.

For instance a resource might be spawning (Term for currently available) on Naboo and Tatooine one day but might shift off of Naboo the next while still remaining on tatooine. Usually in such an instance the resource will shift off the other planet within a day or two.

You just gotta learn to love the shift.

See it as gaining new opportunities rather than losing all the maintenance creds and power you just put in to keep them running with nothing to harvest.

They dont use power if the resource your on drrops to zero, they switch off and only eat up your maintenance. But it's still nice to whine.
