I have the macro up and running and am on my way to novice chef.

What is the best item to craft with the fewest different resources (clicks in the macro) and gives the most XP per crafting session?

Personally, I went all the way to Master Artisan making craftiing tools on practice mode. Theclothing one, to be exact, since its first in the list. If you have some scout, and therefore a free self-supply of hide, then Hide Boots and Wookie Jerkins are a decent givers of artisan xp. You can even make them in a variety of colors and sell them for a few credits.
