Take a fool's advice... stay away from architecture. If you want to spend lots of time doing lots of work for little or no pay, architect is the trade for you. Otherwise, don't bother.

I spent 4 months as a master architect and retired with 2 million credits. I've been on another server for acouple of weeksand already have more than that, and only have master artisan skill (and a good knowledge of how to mine resources).

Architect profession bites hard. Not that I'm bitter or anything... Of course, you could REALLY screw up and become a droid engineer. That's even worse.

My advice, if you like crafting: become a weaponsmith. If you do top-quality work, people will flock to your door. A good gun shows the craftsmanship of the weaponsmith, and reflects the care he took in choosing his materials. A house made with 900+ qualitymaterials by a master architect looks just like the one that A_Noobie_23371 made with total crap materials. After a house is placed, there's nothing to show who made it. Weapons proudly bear your mark of excellence. Also, weapons decay, and people gain new weapons certifications, so you can make repeat sales. Once someone buys a house, they never need to buy another one, so forget making repeat sales.

I'm not trying to bust your chops or anything. I'm just offering the advice of someone who has been there and done that.

You could be both weapon smith and arch but that does not leave you with very meny skill points to get a weapon profession, but if you dont really want to fight much, go for it!

it's not really about if its good or not, its if you like the idea then do it!

hope this info helped

What Im saying is that is it smart to make a WeaponSmith have some sort of a battling skill so that he may be able to defend himself or should I juts master the WeaponSmith and nuthin else.
