I had given up on making food, none of the Artisan foods were worth the inventory space or trouble to use.
Some of the new ones look really great! Instant mind damage heal, skill food, incap timer reduction, damage mitigation and more.
Anyone having any luck selling these yet? Anyone getting usage exp?

haven't had a chance to look, but I hope they're not TOO great. It would royally suck for the long time chefs if a master artisan could make food that is close in effectiveness to their own.

Well, the artisan foods' stat buffsare focused on one stat, so for more buffs with one drink/food chefs still have it covered. There are a few other effects unique to artisan (+Terrain Negotiation, DoT reduction), and some others that have better chef equivalents.
I think there's enough business to cover everything.

Milked my first Kaduu last night "you relax the creature and start milking it" very odd!
anyway made some food in the field away from any crafting terminal and was suprised to see some food with decent buffs, that new bar with the timer for food and spices is excellent, especially pleased to see that multiple portions stack
Might have to don my apron tonight and see what I can come up with

Anybody have a guide to exactly what the Artisan food does now? As a tailor, I haven't made any in a long time, but got some stuff and made... hm, Blob Candy and Kanali Wafers, I think. Neither had any of the "new" modifiers, just affecting Action and Constitution, I believe.

There ya go. It's a thread in the chef board sticky. It lists ALL of the food that changed. So just scroll around til you find the names that are in the artisan tree. They are there and they are VERY nice. Oh and BTW. Artisans can ALSO add BE additives to their as well!!!!!!
The are the big ones that the chefs can add but then again we aren't chefs. BUT there are SOME scematics that we get that the chefs cannot get better on. (ie the drink that gives entertainers a bonus to mind/wound healing). So what? Well that means that a 4/4/0/4 Artisan can make it BETTER then a 0/4/0/4 Artisan/Master Chef because you will get the FULL 10 experimentation points to use and that chef will only get 5.
But I don't think we will hear the chefs complaining about it and if they do then tell them to go look at some of the other stuff they can make that is far more superior then it use to be

Milked a Kaadu did you. Hmmm... Kaadu is avian meat. Never would have thought it as a milk source. Will have to try that.
