I have purchaced a couple of small flora farms, but the game won't let me set them up anywhere....
Ive tried a number of rural areas, but no go.
Is there some requisite that I am unaware of?
This may explain why I don't see many of them around....
Thanks

As long as the ground is relatively flat, though if by small you mean personal this shouldn't affect you much, and you are outside of the no-build zones around cities you should be fine. You also can't set them up near a spawn site, indicated by the large yellow areas on the overhead placement view.

It's not always 1k meters from an NPC city... try going 500m out of theed, naboo and you should have no trouble at all. On the other hand... if you are on Corellia? *grins* Good luck!
That planet is a pain in the you know what to place on!There are a few others planets that are tougher as well. Just keep trying!

I'm just getting a message saying "you can't build here"
and that's pretty much it
I sampled in about, 12-15 areas so I never got to any of the things you are describing.

I have some issues with the placement of harvesters, but mostly it's that the interface isa pain ![]()
If you're getting a message that you can't place a harvester, then you're probably too close to a "nonplayer" city. Need to be about 1000m+ out from the "city line". Or you may be too close to a static Point of Interest location. Check your datapad and activate all the POIs and make sure none are close.
It would be great if the 'place harvester' interface would block off the no-build areas rather than just the areas that are too steep for the harvester you're placing.
