question:
Is the list of resources that appears in the survey tool all of the currently available resources on that planet, or in the whole universe?
In other words, if I were to travel to another planet and use the tool again, would I get a different list of resources, or the same ones?
if there's no radioactives, for example,listed in the tool on one planet, does that mean there are none on any planet?

The survey tool only lists what is available on your current planet. If you go to another planet the list will be somewhat different. Some resources will span several planets, while some will be on only one planet. If the tool lists on radioactives on one planet, there are none on that planet. There may be some on other planets. Go to SWGCraft.com, they have lists of all the resources available on all the planets on each server.
