Thread: General Crafting XP problem since patch....

Hello,
I've been using the same macro i usedd before the patch grinding out general crafting xp...but since patch it takes my resources and crafts the items im making but gives me NO XP 
anyone else getting this problem? I have also tried crafting without the macro and still no general crafting xp at all.

Looks like harvesters might be giving Structure Crafting Exp instead of General Crafting Exp again....

Same is happening to me also. Didn't get any General XP from crafting a Generic Crafting Tool either.

Right after I posted the last message, I logged out for about an hour to do some RealLife® stuff, and when I logged back in the missing XP was there.

I had interesting behavior on this as well. My XP bar was going up nicely while crafting on Naboo (waiting for the starliner). Ended up in Bestine, did some harvester maintenence, and then went back to town to grind some more. Suddenly nothing I crafted gave me general XP. I'm logging back in shortly to see if it's just a user interface bug (oh, I hope so) or a real problem.
(Hoping I don't have a real problem trying to get to master artisan)

Note, I checked as well at it was not giving me structure crafting XP either.
Tried personal mineral, moisture, and natural gas. No change.
I'll get back in the morning and see if mine reappeared as well.

I had the same problem for both GXP and Armour Crafting XP.
I logged out, rebooted my machine, (It had been running for two days solid and needed a breather) and when i came back the XP had magically appeared (Thank god).

Im having same problem..started right after the last update..first i couldnt get exp from food crafting now i cant get any from tailor crafting

Crafting XP is not solely being affected. I made a few units for a friend of mine and the XP bar moved approximately a 1/2 hour later.
I also was getting frustrated with Trapping IV. I threw a tredemous amount of traps only to see 0 XP. Should have netted 1500 points. Later the XP points were there. I wonder if there was a codeing changed that moved those updates to a background process.
No reboot or logout was necessary, just patience.
Just a thought.

I noticed it with Tailoring last night. Burned through a couple k of steel and fiberplast...noticed to my horror that my tailor xp didnt increase.
Figured it must have been some sort of cache issue so I logged out and in again and the XP was there.

This happened to me at least 7 times yesterday. I logged out and came back and the XP was there. Then it worked for a couple crafts (like 20) and then it stopped again. Log out and it was back. So the XP is coming, but it is not reported after some event, which I do not know occurs. So it needs to be fixed but you will get your XP. Well at least I did.
